Lx5 Technology Control Platform

Multi-Protocol Native Controller
Lx5 Technology Platform

Lumisys has built the technology platform for the future and is calling it the Lx5. The first dual processor lighting controller designed from the ground up strictly for communication with Carrier i-Vu.The Lx5 features multiple native communication options via a simple selection switch or through firmware updates. This 3rd generation technology has been battled tested by the best building automation companies in the world and is ready for your most demanding integrated lighting projects.

The Lx5 Technology Platform is multi-protocol native and ships capable of supporting several protocols** These protocols options are manually selectable (no software required to configure protocol selection).

MINT DRMint® is Green and Open
Demand Response for Lighting Control

The Lumisys MINT DR is a powerful energy management solution that substantially reduces lighting energy consumption during peak periods while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. MINT is built upon two open protocol standards (BACnet and DALI – Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) to eliminate the risk of getting locked into a specific or control system manufacturer. MINT is also built for integration to leverage the inherent value of the building automation system infrastructure to provide a solution that is ease to learn, use and maintain throughout the building life cycle.

BACnet IP
DALI

By employing open standard protocols which are not exclusively owned by a single company the Lumisys MINT product solution greatly simplifies the dream of daylight harvesting that can be managed and verified by Carrier i-Vu.

Lumisys True Relay (LTR)The Most Reliable Relay in the Industry
Lumisys True Relay (LTR)

Lumisys manufactured lighting relay panels use Lumisys True Relays (LTR). These long-life relays are are UL recognized components rated for 300,000 operations at full load and a Short Circuit Current Rating (SCCR) of 20KA when installed in Lumisys panels.  LTR relays have a manual override lever for operation of the relay without power to the electronics and each relay terminal block can accommodate up to size 8AWG load wires.

Addressable Switching Standard on New Platform
Digi-Touch® Goes Native

The first embedded network to eliminate home-run wiring for switches and occupancy sensors. Digi-Touch® improves the functionality of Lumisys multi-protocol native Lx5 Technology platform products by providing the capability of networking digital switches over a single twisted pair of wires. This twisted pair network is the Lumisys Digi-Touch Network.

Digi-Touch® Input Module

The Lumisys Digi-Touch Input Module (DDN-IM) extends the functionality of the Digi-Touch® Network by making many standard occupancy sensors an addressable component on the Digi-Touch Network. This allows occupancy sensing data to be shared with the building automation system for other building controls functions beyond lighting controls such as HVAC setback.
